It has come to the District and Municipality's attention that election related literature has been distributed throughout the community that contains the official municipal seal, distinguishing color combination, and presentation that has reasonably lead to certain public confusion -- leading numerous individuals to presume that the District and/or Lawnside Borough are supporting certain candidates on the ballot. Under no circumstances, does the Lawnside School District, the Board of Education, or municipality; engage in the practice of endorsing any candidates -- as such endorsement by government agencies is prohibited conduct. If you run across any literature or other communications which you may believe to be inappropriately branded as District correspondence, feel free to notify the District to resolve any discrepancies.
